Hello, a quick search didn't yield any results, but I'm looking for a clutch arm for the 4spd my dad has. He flew into town this weekend only and we found that his clutch arm was causing the clutch problems. My 5-speed Getrag clutch arm looks really similar. I understand that the early 4spd cars had a stamped clutch arm and was later replaced with a one piece cast one.

If I go to a junkyard tomorrow, will I be able to find one off of another car?

Part number is 10039912 as pictured.

Thanks,
-Mitch

You can weld the stamped one up enough to get you by until the cast one you buy from weaselbeak comes in. I doubt you'll find one in the yard.

Do I have to replace the clutch arm and the clutch fork? Or can I do what we're talking about and repair mine until I buy one.

You can replace just the arm. The cast one is the way to go.
