I see these on eBay to install in the muffler for a turbo sound.
http://m.ebay.com/sch/i.htm....Xexhaust+turbo+sounHere's the idea..
What if one could be installed backwards in the air intake tube in the drivers side fender (85 GT) between the air intake vent and the air filter canister? It would make that whistling sound by the drivers door. I thought my intake air sucking sound was a scraping in the tranny but when I put my ear to the air intake vent I knew it was air rushing in. I have seen where owners replace the funky plastic plenum between the vent and the air filter canister with a straight PVC tube.. What if one of these was installed in that tube? I can't wait for summer to play around with it, ill take the wheel well plastic off and look at the connection between the vent and the air free canister better.
Any thoughts ? Ideas? Anyone willing to try putting one of these in the intake tube and videoing it?
I will video it and post it if I ever try it.
Peace out fiero guys ! (And gals)
