I usually charge $2,500 for all the labour on a full swap and that is with me supplying every thing but the engine/tranny, fuel pump and exhaust parts and of course the clutch and fly wheel on manual swaps just to give you an idea. Dan

I did everything myself except exhaust and wiring harness it cost me about 4k - Donor car was 1100 and the exhaust was 800, that was a large chunk of my budget obviously

Thats what I was thinking, around 2000.00 for labor and the owner supplies the parts. Dark, I do have a question for you. What do you charge for a wiring harness, and about how long does it take to get one finished, and can you reprogram the ECM? That is one thing that I don't have the skill or tools to do.

I charge $400 per harness when supplied with a 3800SC harness to work with and $450 when I supply one and all my harnesses come with a matching programmed PCM at no extra charge. Dan
