I'm trying to test my TPS to see if it's bad and the reason for a code I'm getting (P0122 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Low). In case it turns out the TPS is bad, I want to check in advance where to get the correct part for a decent price. Unfortunately I'm not sure what car the engine came from as I bought it off a guy who was in mid-swap and can't get a hold of him anymore. I think it's a late 90s Bonneville or Grand Prix but not sure how to tell. I took a look a the TPS and the code on it is 7X14A. Tried doing a search on here and Google but came up empty.

All the series II 3800's use the same TPS whether it is SC or N/A, if you need one I have a few spares in my tool box. Dan

Thanks Dan. I guess the code on it is probably from some aftermarket manufacturer? I can't seem to find any reference to 7X14A anywhere. Pretty much all the ones I can find say 2711A.
