I'm in the process of swapping to a different ECM.
I'm looking for a diagram of the harness that the Fiero Factory used in their swap.
I already have the Cadillac service manuals, but I'd like to know the specific tweaks/changes the FF made before I tear into the harness.
If nothing else, I'd like to be able to put it back to original if my grand experiment doesn't work, for whatever reason.

Any help will be appreciated.

One thing they didn't do on mine was run VSS into the ECM.
I've had my harness pulled. There's nothing magical...just figure out what needs to be repined/moved on the connectors since the connectors to the PCM/ECM are identical.

Thanks, Lou.
I'm surprised they didn't run the VSS to the PCM. Seems like that would cause all sorts of stalling issues.

The basic stuff is easy. I'm interested in stuff like A/C, diagnostic connectors, and all the "extras" that are different from 50,000 DeVilles, that make it work in the Fiero. I can always trace wires out, but a diagram makes stuff so much simpler. Can solve all sorts of questions that I might have, before I even have them.

Well, I noticed the '7730 is externally identical looking to the 92 PCM, I think the '94+ PCMs are different. If you have the older style PCM, you may not have much work to do. Really, figure out what you have then look at the pinouts. It's not more complicated than that if you have the older PCM from what I've seen of my wiring harness and my '7730 conversion on my other car.

I think you'll have to switch to a traditional throttle body as I don't believe the '7730 will run the ISC...

Yup. Both ECMs use the same three connectors. The pinouts are not similar, however, given a quick glance.
You're right about the throttle body. Already have one from an L67.

Don't get me wrong... I understand that this is not rocket science. I'm just cautious. And lazy.
