almost done with my 3800SC, the COILS have no designation on them as to "Which tower" is for which Plug. I've seen other cars have the # of the cyl on the coil, these do not. and, I think I read on a post somewhere , that I "Can" leave the coil in it's "original "mounting spot, If I "turn it" ? Thanks

Unscrew the individual coils from the mounting bracket and look at their underside. It's been my experience with these DIS coils that they are typically stamped on both the top and bottom with the intended cylinder number.

I don't understand exactly what you are asking, kind of poorly worded. Anyway, all the coils are the exact same regardless of what number is on the coilpack, the only thing that matters is where the coil is on the ICM.. Let's call the end of the ICM with the wire connector the bottom (since that is usually the bottom on the original cars engine).. From bottom to top it goes 1/4, 2/5, 6/3

The numbers over the coil towers in the picture, there are no numbers on my coils( and no plug wires at the time) so I was not sure where the plug wires went. Thanks. any explanation of HOW the coil pack has to be "Turned" to clear the deck rail ? thanks again
