One of my headlights, (drivers side) is a lot dimmer than the passenger side. Why is that? 88 fiero gt with 2.8, anyone else have this happen?

First guess would be a bad ground. IIRC there's one right by the side turn signal light that is a likely culprit.

Unless both headlights were replaced at the same time, it could be that it's older, and thus weaker, than the other. Headlights don't always just suddenly burn out. Sometimes they die a slow death, getting weaker with age.

Yeah both were replaced at the same time, when i last drove the car and poped my headlights, both lights popped up BRIGHT (normal) then 2 seconds after they popped up...my drivers side one dimmed to 20 percent, like someone hit a dimmer switch that was only hooked up to my drivers side headlight. It stayed that way till i got home i saw my headlight intensity on the reflection of the vehicles onfront of me...drivers side dim...passanger normal), then i got out of my car when i parked it and looked to see the lights and BOTH were bright and normal...

any idea what could be causing this?

Look on the inside of the inner fender beside the headlight bucket. There should be a small fastener with a couple wires under it.
Next to the hole on the left.

Try this, it might work: Unplug the headlight and give the connector a good spray with WD40. Connect and disconnect several times.
