I'll be putting my engine up for sale soon. It has to be out of the car before Jan to get a proper show car paint job.

Now for the big question...how much is a 2.8L V6 with 109,000 and counting worth ?

Engine runs great, I only have two peeves with it.. 1 very slow oil leak (rear main seal) easy fix when engines out of the car... 2 very slight idle hunting (might be vacuum related)

The car is a 1987 Fiero GT Fastback, new power plant will be a 4.9 V8 which should be ready to show at the Daytona 2014 March event.

About 7 years ago, I bought a complete drop-out 2.8 with about 140K for $200. Then 2 years ago, I bought a complete cradle, automatic trans and 2.8 with 110K for $200. Both engines had everything on them since they were also to be replaced by 4.9's. The cradle was sans all suspension components and axles. Just an example. Could be more or less in Miami.

That's what I thought, I guess I wouldn't take any less than that. Thank you for your reply.
