Started working on my harness for my LZ9 with factory settings to start with.
Having the FSM for both donor and Fiero helps a LOT and the feedback from someone that has done it helps to not "reinvent the wheel".
I figured I'd post here instead of clogging up someone's email.
Just beginning, but doesn't look impossible.
Will post progress to possibly help others. There are some more advanced with Turbos and most have bypassed the VVT, but I want to start out stock.
I've found posts on installs so far

it's really not as hard as everyone makes it out to be, it's just tedious. I made the harness for my 3500 F23 swap.

not for a Fiero, but the principles are the same for any swap harness,

Edit:

there's also this:

I haven't added any VVT V6 stuff yet, although I would imagine it's similar to the Atlas I6 info.

Learned one thing quickly. It is a LOT easier to start with a V-6 harness in a V-6 car.
Got bogged down in trying to make a 4-cyl harness work.
First part of basic on the LZ9 harness is Pink= switched 12v, red/wht= constant 12v.

A Manual Trans Upshift Light TAN/BLK
B From FP Fuse to Oil Switch/Relay ORG/BLK
C From ECM to CE/SES lamp BRN/WHT
D AC Cycle switch to clutch coil LT BLUE
E Oil Pressure Sender to Gauge TAN/BLK
F From ECM IGN Fuse to ECM PNK/BLK
G VSS Sender to Speedo YEL
H VSS signal from speedo to ECM BRN
I N/C
J From TBI INJ1 Fuse to INJ 2-4-6 PNK/WHT
K From TBI INJ1 Fuse to INJ 1-3-5 PNK/BLK
L From Fuel Pump to Relay and oil switch TAN/WHT
M Instrument Panel Ground BLK/WHT
N AC Relay to Clutch switch BLK
O N/C
P From Brake Switch to TCC PPL
Q N/C
R VSS Sender to Speedo PPL
