Ok so i was thinking about making a custom parking brake using the brake hydraulics since i have the e brake cables all removed and the handle removed, maybe i can run a brake line under the kick panel with a hand valve that u can open and close then bleed the brakes and see if it will work. Yea i know i would have to drill a hole in floor and run the brake line through to inside the car so please dont rant about it i really wanna have a parking brake somehow just incase if the clutch fails one day to hold the car from rolling down hill

Here is a link of what the valve handle will look like http://www.directindustry.c...es-55969-508448.html

line lock brakes are not legal as a parking brake in most jurisdictions. I'd check your state regulations before you do it.

Cheaper is not always better

Yes i know that line locks are not legal but i have a buddy that will give me a sticker to pass state inspection so ill be ok with getting one im just running i probably would have to run new brake line down the drivers side since the rear brake line runs down the passenger side of the car

If your buddy is gonna get you a sticker anyway, then just get some wheel chocks. They'll be more reliable than a line lock.

Just put stock brakes back on the car. Or get the right Caddy calipers to use for the e-brake. And adjust them properly.

It's a hundred times easier, and cheaper, than whatever custom thing you're trying to think of doing.

They do also make hydraulic hand brakes. I had one on an early Saab 900, replicating the original factory front handbrake. A hydraulic hand brake made for some sweet j-turns.
