I have a question about Getrag mounting bosses maybe some-one can answer. I bought a set of CC Rider's 1" lowering transmission brackets for my 1988GT. The rear bracket did not line up with my trans. If the top and bottom were bolted through the third hole was off by one half a bolt diameter. The vender was good enough to send me another that he had checked on his mule and knew was correct. Same thing; it did not fit my trans. It was the first time CC had seen this. Did GM have different lay-outs for bolt patterns?

Thanks,

Neil

The tolerances on the GM part are a lot tighter than the tolerances on CC's part.
Angle bends on metal that thick are tough to duplicate.
filing out the hole a bit won't hurt anything.
