Hello,

I have a member here that sold me a relay part number 10031018 (identical relay is a 10027587 but not part of this debate). I asked for an isolation relay p/n 10022620. He is saying they are the same. I think he sent me an Actuator relay (mounted on the headlight buckets) from all the research I've done. This is for the 84-86 headlight systems.

Can we shed some light on this to help resolve?

Thank you!

The isolation relay and the headlight relay are definitely not the same, looks like you have the one that goes on the motor, not the isolation relay.

Like NetCam said, the two are not interchangeable. If you are replacing the isolation relay then you need part #10022620.....the other one will not work in that application.

Either will plug into the other's harness, but the internal circuitry is different.
