Hi fella's. I am new here and delighted to find this source. I just bought 2 "86" gt's and a supercharged Buick and am going to be doing some swaps. For right now I want to get one of the cars operational and am having a problem finding the correct T.O. bearing. The car has a four spd. the old T.O. brg had an ID of 1-3/8 and the new T.O, Brg has an ID of 1-3/16. what gives? Thanks, John
The trouble is in '86 there was a change from the 4 speed to the 5 speed, so both transmissions are listed, but some sources list only one of them. Check the '85 number...should be the same part.
