The past couple times I've driven my fiero it's had a miss. Today it got a lot worse and
now I'm stuck in a parking lot. It's an 86 2.8 . It was running I pulled into a store to see if anything was loose.
I wiggled the coil/distributer wire and it died. Any help would be appreciated!!

That's not much information to go on. Old cap or wires will leak to ground...If you can start the car at this point, mist the spark plug wires with water (wait until dark), and look for arcing.

As already stated, we haven't got much to go on... but it's possible the "coil/distributor wire" harness either has a broken wire or probably more likely, a connection is bad/corroded at one of the terminals.

Disconnect this short wire harness and clean all terminals. If you have an ohm meter, check for a broken wire.

Remove and replace the low voltage wires on the coil and distributor to wipe and clean the contacts, then try re-starting.
Was the engine running when you "wiggled the wires"?
