What would happen if you just removed( blocked off) the EGR altogether ?

There's lots of differing opinions on this. Some report no problems and others have burned pistons. I think someone once posted that you could have the chip reprogrammed to override the EGR solenoid input. Derek might be able to answer that for you. BTW, next time you see Darrell F. give him a slap in the head and tell him to call me.

The ECM when it turns on the EGR also runs more advance and a leaner mixture. It might work fine, or maybe not.

I sell reprogrammed ECM chips that don't try to turn on the EGR.

You also won't get a Code 32 again with the chip.
