What would happen if I put a high flow loud muffler in place of my catalytic converter, but kept my stock muffler on? I think it would sound awesome. Thoughts?

Over the years I have played with a lot of different exhaust system setups on the v6's
and have found out replacing the CAT with a muffler, no matter what type, is the worst
thing a person can do. Without going into to much flow & pressure details it will decrease
power, reduce mpg, and raise cab noise, from my experience anyway.

search the form here & the archives, there is a lot of great testimony on what has
worked to others.
