I have stock 2.8 1987 gt
Putting on a new thrush muffler. What inlet and outlet do i need to buy? And does it have to be the three hole muffler, one in, two out? Thanks. Im a noob haha

Thanks, are you sure its 1 in 2 oit? I saw a lot of different things online, and also, can a mechanic make a 2 or 2 1/2 fit the in by welding or a connector or clamp or something? Or does it have to be exact measurements?

Stock Fiero is one in and two out, first it goes to the the Cat, then to the muffler and then splits (two out of the muffler) to the the exhausts. Any pipe size can be adapted to any other, but it best to get what your car has now going into the exhisting muffler. Larry

Appears to be the same part # you were given above! You can always measure your old muffler for the "body length" for comparison.

12" Length.
9-5/8" Width.
5" Depth.

Thrush Muffler #17638

15" Length.
9-1/2" Width.
4" Depth.
