Is there any benefit to swapping out the 4T60-e to a 4T65-e transmission on a 3500 V6 for a Engine swap into my 87GT?

Not sure but I think they have different gearing. If your swapping you might as well upgrade to the hd.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. I am considering Boosting a 3500 and I want a Transmission that can hold the power output. So I was considering the 4T65-E HD.
