okay, I want to put a switch in circuit after the one on the dash pod, so when I turn my lights on, I can flip the switch I want to put in to interrupt the circut, and when I turn my headlights off, they will stay up. until I use the switch I've installed to complete the circuit so they would then go down.

headlights are gen 1

White wire.

It will only work when closing the doors. When you will be opening them, breaking this wire won't affect them - they will still go up.

okay sweet, that was what I was looking for.

I want to be able to just prevent the headlights from going down when I turn the lights off, if I flip the interrupt switch before I turn them off.

I just installed some backlit 6054 housings to glow red with the parking lights.

If I have my lamps on turn them off and quickly turn on my running lights they stay up without the lamps being on.

I just wanted a hidden flip switch, so I wouldn't have to worry about tricking the switches.

But yeah... RED illegal as FU.
