(85 gt 2.8 5 speed conversion) What could be the common problem to look at when the 2.8 starts to stumble and hesitate at idle, i have a new fuel filter im gonna put on sunday coming up, should i look at ignition components as well

Check the vacuum lines for leaks.

Is it stumbling all by itself at idle, or when you step on the pedal? Wait until dark and mist the spark plug wires with water. If you see arcing or if the car stumbles more it is time for new wires.
