Before I tear into the harness on this Formula, I wanted to pick a few brains to see where I should start.
The car runs great, but sometimes won't charge.
It has been through a few alternators, and the problem seems to happen shortly after alternator replacement. (a few days to a few months)
The volt light will light up and shows that it is not charging.
Sometimes when you start the car it will charge.
It does not change from not charging to charging while running, only after it is shut off, then restarted.
I am leaning towards a bad harness, ground, or some other connection.

Where to start?

maybe Alt wires/socket/etc is bad/loose...

If MIL is on, Check ECM codes for over/under volt too.
