I was just wondering if cradle spacers could be used instead of notching the hood to accommodate the 3800sc with the alternator in stock position? I know it would raise the gap between the wheel well but that could be remedied by lowering the coils which I want to cut them anyhow.

it would add clearance between the alt/deck lid but it would also change the geometry of the rear a arms. I would not do it.
