How does the electrical connector on the top of the fuel pump/ float sensor assembly come apart?? If they are different this is an 88. thanks

I used this guide https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/096769.html when I had to replace my fuel pump. Mine is an 87 tho but the guide was pretty spot on.

THANK YOU I had searched for gas tank removal and fuel tank removal didn't think to look for fuel pump replace.
