Every so often I see a post where people talk about placing a rounded style shoestring underneath their sunroof weather seal to help it seal better. I tried to search and can't find it.

Does the shoestring go underneath the outer perimeter of the seal (between the body and gasket) or the inner parimeter (sunroof opening and gasket)?
