I am replacing my fuel pump, and i have the tank ready to drop, but the wiring will not come off! it is still connected somehwere though but i cant tell where it is! Can anyone help by giving me a good picture of where the wiring disconnects for the fuel tank? This is an '84 auto.

The fuel pump power feed is a single weatherpack connector on a tan/white wire close to the pass through on the firewall in the engine compartment.

The two gauge wires I believe are on a double weatherpack connector on the passengers side near the firewall also but I am not sure on the 84.

Yeah if you remove the heat shield that goes on the back of the cabin, you will be able to follow the wire harness up to the connector.
