Ok my quad 4 Fiero is running poorly. I have been trouble shooting and noticed the service engine soon light does not come on when you turn the key to the on position. Is there a way I can check what the code is without running wire up to the dash.

The engine is a 1993 Pontiac Grand AM SE motor, if that helps.

Is the bulb just burned out?
