I have a 3800 series II s/c from a 97 riviara going into a 86 gt... I'm looking for part numbers for the coolent hoses I'm using the stock thermkstat houseing. I used the search function but the past numbers I pulled from it seem to b discontinued at my local parts store... Also does anyone have a good schematic for a diy shift cable bracket for the 4t65-e ?

Just use a piece of flexing coolant hose, 1 1/4 is what you need for tstat and 1 1/2 for inlet.

I used a" part of" the 2.8 vertical steel coolant pipe from the back of the engine to go from the thermostat housing to the drivers coolant tube, with a 6" rubber hose for connections.

Left side hose to stock 3800 t-stat is part # E71082. I got mine from Advanced Auto Parts for $9.54.

Right side hose to stock 3800 water pump is part # E71030. I got mine from Auto Zone for $10.66.

Check out my build thread "AutoMarshal 3800SC".
