Ever since I got my Fiero last year, it has had an exhaust leak. My first attempt at fixing the leak resulted in several snapped exhaust manifold bolts. So I pulled the heads and replaced the manifold gaskets only to still have an exhaust leak. After driving it like this for a few months, I bought a set of ported manifolds from a member here on the forum. When I pulled the front manifold off, the #2 manifold flange stayed stuck to the head. I could never see any cracks, and I can see why now, the welds were cracked. I used Remflex gaskets and finished putting everything back together and boy is that thing quiet. I drove it to work today and I could barely hear the motor except when I accellerated hard. I would recommend the Remflex gaskets to anyone that is having problems getting their exhaust manifolds to stop leaking. The gaskets are quit thick and compress very well to accomodate for any warping of the manifold. Now I just need to get my a/c working before it gets too hot here!!!

Those pesky exhaust leaks. Ont thing I learned over the years is to make sure to buy premium exhaust gaskets. Cheap ones blow out.

I got the Remflex gaskets from performanceparts.com. Kind of pricey, but well worth not having the pesky exhaust leak.

Got a part number? Their website not very useful to search by vehicle/engine.
