I couldn't find anything on how to actually install the oil filter bypass valve. I know where it goes, I know what it does, but I don't know what that blue tablet that comes with the valve is. Any members installed one of the ACDelco ones? It comes with the blue tablet.

I do have the same question though, and I couldn't find an answer either.
Since my new block doesn't have one I need to ask, how do I install the valve? And what's the deal with the blue pellet?
