I have the USB aldl cable from Red Devil and the latest version of Tunerpro RT. I have done the driver install on to my Windows 7 laptop. I start Tunerpro, load the .adx file for my 4.9 power Fiero test the connection, then try and connect to the Caddy ECM. All I get is the DA:Not Connected Flashing between connected and not, and a error count in the box next to it with a 0.0 hZ.
I am just trying to read error codes on my 4.9 any ideas????

Usually that means you have the wrong .ADX file selected.

Is your ECM a 2240? What year was it from?

In TunerPro RT when you selected the COM port did the cable pass the self test - Note the self test is only valid with the cable plugged into the laptop and the cable NOT plugged into the vehicle.

Make sure you have the right COM port selected.

Checked the ECM Sevrv. No. 16132240. Ran the cable test and it passed. Connected to the car and I still get the same error. However the error was there with the cable connected or not. I am checking my wiring to make sure that that 8129 is connected to Pin M.

Checked the wiring Pin A8 PCM 2A/B UART Serial Data goes to ALDL Pin M. Testing the cable passes.

Ideas?
