I have a 84 2m4 I can get a 88 front cradle bare for 30. Are any of the 84 parts usable on it?

if bare you mean no control arms, knuckle, brakes, exc, then no, not worth it. To get an 88 front in any other year you need everything, including brake/clutch lines.

It is not a difficult job, IF you have ALL. On top of that you need to notch the frame on the pre-88 cars to get an 88 front end on it.

We'll I planed on a bigger brake setup and coil over kit maybe tubular arms also.
