Can someone confirm that the flexplate off the Camaro/firebird is too big for the 88 Fiero ? I used the Rodney plate to drill the block but the Camaro flexplate seems too big for the starter to fit properly?

Thanks

Use the flexplate from the '88 engine. neutral balanced..... but according to my notes a 3.1/3.4 TDC flexplate should work for an automatic.

The F-Body flexplate won't fit the Fiero. As mentioned above, you need a flexplate from an '88 Fiero V6, or an '88-up GM 60-degree V6.
