Has anyone used an aftermarket shifter for their 4/5/6 speed transaxle? If so, which one(s) and what was involved in the swap?

Manual or auto?

For the 4 or 5 speed manuals, everyone I have seen with them, is using the appropriate OEM shifter assembly (I presume you're talking about the whole assembly, and not just the part the knob screws on to). And I think everyone with the F40 6 speed is using a modified 4 speed shifter.

Some people are using the OEM shifter arm, some are using a shortened OEM arm, some are using Rodney's short shift kit.
