I bought my oldest daughter on 80/81 TA I think it was and the entire dash lights were out, so being I am cheap and had a soldering iron I took the iron and wired in, well wires to replace the faulty lights circuits. Really was simple but not easy, I had to follow all the wires on the flexible printed circuit board and soldered real wires from the plugs female socket to the proper bulbs fingers I guess you would call them that the bulbs themselves go into. didn't take all that long and worked like a charm.
As far as replacement flexible circuit board replacements I think you may be able to pick up a complete working dash cluster on line, eBay comes to mind or even a bone yard.
