My Odometer does not work on my 5 spd manual 2.5. will a speedometer and gauge cluster that I have from a donor car with 2.5 and auto transmission work just plug and play or does it take something else to make it work.

Its plug and play. There are differences in the method of lighting the gauges. Some are backlit and others are reflective lighted. Manual or automatic gauges make no difference. I believe it was 86 when they went to backlighted gauges.
