Go to CarFax's web page. You can do a one VIN kind of thing and it's not expensive.

Shouldn't there be a '37' for coupe?

Check with your state. In IL we can search by VIN and find out title information.

You can call GM to see if all the recalls have been done.

You take it to a GM dealer. I noticed when I got the SE fixed that it had been there previously with an electrical problem.

Has it ever been on eBay? There might still be an Autocheck report.

I don't know if I've seen a CarFax, but many Autocheck reports and similar online paid information is full of errors and pretty vague at best.
