You have to use a scanner to read codes on the 2240 ECM, or if you are running the BCM and have the heater controls hooked up they display there. You can not use the paperclip to read the codes.

If you are interested I do sell scanner cables that work with the 4.9 ECM.

I use Tuner Pro to read the code. It used to work find but this time no highlited code .

was it working for some time and just develop this problem, or did it happen right after you installed the chip? Maybe an issue with the check engine light wiring?
