I have a 1986 Fiero GT, putting in a 1999 GTP 3800 Series 2 Supercharged motor...

Now about the lines coming out of the LIM and the timing cover, do I go ahead and plug those or?...
I plan to get a modified T'stat housing, but heard years differ.

you need to search in the forum there is hundreds of thread about that .unfortunately i speek french and me too building a 3800 sc and sometimes it is really hard to understand . you can have too many configuration (depends on if you keep the alternator bracket or not , uses modded fiero t-stat housing .....) but if im not wrong you have two cooling model on fiero the 84-86 who have a return for the heater core and the 87-88 who have a return that goes to the passenger side coolant pipe. when you have a 87-88 and you uses a modded fiero housing that have a small tube onder the thermostat you can plug these two holes ( lim and water pump timing cover ) and you put a hose from the small tube to the heater feed line . because you have the 86 maybe you need to retain one of these 2 holes for the return for the heater core . maybe another who can help you or try the search forum

With my searching I've only found 87-88 installs.
Any '86 are very vague.

I'm losing the stock Alt bracket and going with a low mount,
A/C still in the same place.

I don't mind plugging one and tapping another, but it'd
Be nice to know which to tap and which to plug.

I took the easy way on my swap. I didn't plug any holes and just ran 2 coolant hoses from the engine to the heater core lines.

Well searching on my phone at work isn't my priority.
It would be nice if someone just said,

"To save time and hassle just tap the LIM and/or TC and thread in a -/- NPT nipple to run x line"

I'm never a dick and tell people to use the search function
Unless is an insanely obvious question.

I'm in the process of doing mine. (86 GT) If I'm not mistaken, it's 3/4 NPT tap. I read that you should check the irragation section of most hardware stores to find the 3/4 NPT to barb fitting thatwould work with heater core hoses.

good luck!

Nobody is trying to be a dick.
Its generally understood that when you go to a forum, you search first. Call it forum etiquette. In this case, there is 15 years of information. Thats a lot.
Also, did you ever stop to think about everyone else's priorities?
Having said that, I hope you get your answer.
