This is the second time I've gotten a alternator from AutoZone the duralast "gold" lifetime warranty that wines, at first I figured the belt was too tight but Its not I tightened the hell out of it with my old one and it never made this noise. The wine is progressive with the RPM I don't like the noise but I can tolerate it since I don't have a muffler the duke is pretty rumbley so it drowns out everything else when I'm on the gas. My question mainly Is has anyone else had this noise issue with aftermarket alternators or is it just my dumb luck it happens to both this 84 and my old one?

Any chance the belt is to tight. May be wearing the bearing.
