Hey all,

As I’m not able to search the forum to see if this has been discussed before or not (probably because I JUST registered earlier today), I’ll ask here:

Anybody have a source for a water pump pulley, preferably new, for my ‘88 2.5L? I wrecked mine when pulling it off the old pump intending to put it on a new pump. I used a 2-jaw puller and later found out I should have used a power steering pump pulley puller.

I’d buy a used one if I can’t find new if anyone has one they’d be willing to part with.

Thanks for any and all help,

Dan

Anybody, registered or not, can use the Search function here. Just make sure to use the appropriate parameter options (in the drop-down boxes).

If no one comes through with a replacement; take the pulley with you and head out to the salvage yard and match it up for size depth and mounting. GM used a few sizes of water pump pulleys (many with the same bolt pattern) and you should be able to match it up.
