I know we have a lot of members here who are knowledgable about Miatas. I hope to get something with better mpg than the Dakota soon, if I can talk my wife into it. Would like to hear some opinions about this one (VIN not known yet, but I have asked the seller for it):

Maybe this link works

1999 Mazda Miata MX5 - $5,500
Mileage 72,000
Exterior Color Green
Interior Color Charcoal
Engine 4 Cylinder
Transmission Manual

Options Installed

•CD Player
•DVD Player
•Power Mirrors
•Rear Window Defroster

Seller's Description and Comments

1999 convertible Mazda Miata in great condition...manual, emerald body and charcoal interior, 72,000 miles, garage kept, power windows, original owners manual...well maintained.

Sounds about right to me, but I don't know what'd be a good price where you are.

It's reasonable.
Around here, $4K (my target price when I was shopping) will only get you a NA (1st gen) with 100K or more miles.
Or maybe a NB (2nd gen) with lots of miles and/or no options.

If I were looking, I'd be very tempted, depending upon the Autochek or Carfax.
