So my last Fiero had Fiero cast into the air plenum, and this one is flat top with a Fiero sticker on it. Does anyone know why there not all cast in?

85 and 86 had the flat top + sticker.

87 and 88 model years have the cast letters.

I don't know why Pontiac did the change.

Save on cost of sticker + application time. Every dime adds up.

Someone swapped mine out yeah I noticed.

I own an 85 SE V6 (35 years) and it has the sticker.....Recently, I picked up one of the later ones with the name cast in....Then I have been modifying it a bit ("Dawg" mod).....Need to paint it then install....(1st pic is off the web...)
