Does anyone know the proper size and thread pitch for the side mirrors? I am trying to help someone replace theirs but there is no info on the actual size. I took my own mirror apart, removed the stud, and measured it with a dial caliper. It appears to be 6mm but I can't figure out the thread pitch.

Anyone good with the math based on this photo? I tried to figure out the pitch but came out with a very odd number.

It should be M6x1.0.

Test the stud with a nut to be sure.
