As of this date I have not seen any announcement of the Spring Turkey Run. However, it is typically held around the last weekend of March. I plan to attend if the meet is still on for this year.

As best as I can determine, there may not be an organized Fiero group at Daytona this spring. If anyone else knows something about the show, please post it.

I'll be there if I get my fresh 4.9 back into the car. Come to think of it, I'll be there even without the car, but my goal is to bring the car.

I am planning on going. Only a set of tires, rear calipers, some Rodney Parts & a very frigid weekend replacing a HTOB away from being able to go.

I am going, but Not with my V8 Fiero. It is having some problems. But I will be driving my 88 corvette. I am trying to get all the documentation I can for that year. There are so many things the 2 cars have in common. I realy want the picture of the car on the track on sunday.

I contacted the organizers to see about a specific Fiero parking area:

From: Harold Spalter <halspalter1@aol.com>

To: stinky turkeyrun.com <stinky@turkeyrun.com>
Subject: club parking

Hello!

I am registered for the show. Can you tell me where the Fieros (or Pontiacs) will be parking? I know of at least 15 Fiero owners that say they will attend, tho we are not an organized club, we just belong to the same forum. Can we get a specific area set aside?

Also, will pictures be taken Sunday during the paced laps?

Thank you!

Yes pictures will be taken and offered for sale. I do not know what he charges as he is an independent and has many types of pic. ideas to chose from.
The Fieros have always done their own thing and park in one area by one of the bathrooms.
Stinky
DBSRs.

Yes, his name is Stinky!

I'll be there. I missed one year (2009), since 1994 because of a conflict of attending a wedding out of town.

Just received word from the organizers that the 2020 Spring Turkey Run has been cancelled due to coronavirus:

Daytona Beach, Fla. (March 13, 2020) – After careful consideration the Spring Daytona Beach Turkey Run event scheduled for March 27-29, 2020 has been cancelled.

This decision, while difficult, is based on the facts, guidelines and recommendations available at this time regarding the evolving COVID-19 situation in the U.S.

All pre-registered Show Car, Swap Meet, Car Corral, Artisan Alley and Food vendors will have their spaces and payments transferred to the Spring 2021 show, March 26-28. Note that these spaces cannot be credited for the upcoming Fall Daytona Turkey Run.

All pre-purchased spectator tickets will be refunded by next Friday, March 20th to the credit card that was used to purchase.

Please know that a lot of planning has already gone into this and while we are disappointed to have to make this announcement, just as we know you are disappointed to hear, we feel it is the right decision to make.

We hope that by making this announcement now participants will be able to adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Thanks for your continued support of the Spring Daytona Turkey Run!

Sincerely,

The Daytona Turkey Run Team
