I will not name this scammer on the Forum, because I don't see any provision for that, and don't want to have any problems. But if any of you are thinking of adding aero kits for Your Fiero supplied by this US based supplier, feel welcome to email me for details as to why you may think again.

Confused. If you have been scammed, why protect the alleged scammer ??? If it is someone reputable maybe some of us here on the forum can help you resolve.

The provision is your keyboard. The provision for no problems is your common sense.

Ok, I was not sure if one is allowed to name names on this forum; I have already posted my situation on Madmechanics. Norms Fiberglass in Indiana offers aftermarket body add ons for Fiero, along with many other fabricated parts for other cars. In April, I ordered, and paid $1200 for a rear window for my replica F40 on an 86.Fiero chassis. He was to deliver it to Tucson Az Easter week ( I live in Mazatlan, Mexico.) I drove 1500 miles, hotelled it for 5 days, was out another $1200, and no window. A then phone promise was that he would deliver it DHL to me in Mazatlan. 5 months later, many email and phone promises later, no window, and he is ignoring my calls. I put a lawyer on him with a legal letter in Mishawaka, Indiana where his business is, and no response. I believe he never made the window, and had no intention of sending me one. I have since informed the Mishawaka Better Business Bureau, Indiana Attorney Generals office, and tried the Mishawaka POlice dept, which had no interest in even visiting him. Looks like I am out of luck. Unfortunately he was, apparently the only guy still supplying these windows. I am almost ready to fly up and pay him a visit. ( really mad now) Steve

Surprised to hear this. Norm is usually very good about getting parts out. Sorry you are having issues.

Surprised to hear this too. Anybody near Norm that can help this fellow out and get an answer from Norm ? There are always two sides to every story though. Best of luck. I will try to direct Norm here also.

I would agree there are usaually two sides to a story. But the bottom line is, I have given Norm every opportunity to come good on this transaction over many months, and am out the money, with no window. I really don't want my money back; would prefer a window as promised. I even offered to pay the extra shippng expenses all the way to Mazatlán, after it did not show up in Tucson. Norm came recommended to me as a supplier of the window, on the Madmechanics website by V8 ARCHIE, and I understood him to be legit. But I am here in Mexico, and he is up there, and nothing has happened. I have lots of email and phone records of attempts to get this resolved, with several promises by him, and the car has been parked all this time with a shattered rear stepglass ( vandalized here) I would LOVE someone who knows him, or is in the area to find out what happened here, and try to get it fixed. Would be eternally grateful! Thanks for the interest! Steve

I believe your story , otherwise why would you have posted it.? The service you describe should not and cannot be tolerated. File a complaint with the state attorney general for fraud, let the local BBB and the local mayors office know about it. If he took your money via mail that is criminal fraud so file a complaint with the post office inspectors office. I never liked that source to begin with and won't be buying from this so called "Mr Norm" at any time. His stuff is just not that impressive.

A final closure on this: after many months of aggravation for probably both of us, Norm had my F40 rear window DHL 'd to me in Mazatlan, Mexico. I am sure the cost to get it to me ate up a big chunk of any money he made on this. I also got hit with a $600 duty on it by Mexican Customs; which I was trying to avoid by the original agreement to pick it up in Tucson. So I guess Norm and I both took a pretty good hit. The quality of the window is superb, and he packed it up to ship very well- it got here in perfect condition. So I will withdraw my complaint and consider this a learning experience. Thanks for any supportive comments. Steve
