HOTEL INFORMATION

QUALITY INN BILTMORE A 100% non-smoking facility
1430 Tunnel Road Exit 55, I-40 East, Porter Cove Road
Asheville, NC 28805
828-298-5519
Do not use Option 1 for their reservation line. You will get nowhere. Use Option 0 to speak directly to their front desk instead of someone in an overseas call center that won't give you the discounted rate.

The hotel is easy access off I-40 east of Asheville and within 1 mile of the Black Mountain, US Hwy 70 exit off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Should we overbook, there is a Super 8, Comfort Inn, and Holiday Inn within walking distance.

TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DISCOUNT, TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH THE GEORGIA FIERO CLUB.
If there are problems, ask for Luis Camacho who is the manager.

Currently, 15 rooms have been blocked. More may be added if all rooms are rented early. Rooms are 2 double beds but Queen and King size beds may be available by arrangement at the time of your reservation. A credit card will be required to make your reservation.

Rooms will be available for September 20 and 21. PRICE PER ROOM IS $114 PER NIGHT PLUS 18% TAXES AND FEES
Reservations may be made through Sept. 14 but the rate will be honored beyond that if rooms are available. Each guest is responsible for their own room and related expenses. You may cancel your reservation up until 4 PM on the day of your reservation without penalty. After 4 PM you will be charged the full rate.

If you ever plan to do a Run For The Hills, maybe you should do # 24. It may be the last one.

This morning, news feeds were reporting that more than 1 million people have signed up to storm Area 51 on September 20, 2019 The day we start our event. We should have time to complete it before all the aliens and germ warfare viruses and UFO's are released.

Just three weeks before this year's event. Get your hotel reservations made and your event tshirts ordered.

This year, we will be joined by members of the Southeast Solstice and Sky Club as well as some owners from other clubs. There may even be a few Non-Pontiac vehicles along, too.

The weather forecast for the weekend is beautiful. Atlanta temps in the low to mid-'80s with low '50s on Friday night. Asheville Saturday and Sunday is mid-'80's with lows in the low '50s.

Might want to bring along a sweater, light jacket, or hoodie for our early morning meeting or being outdoors in the evening.

Tiretread and I should arrive about 1:30 today. PGAckerman, Topnotch and his brothers who drove in from Texas will be popping in in the afternoon, then the rest of the troup will be arriving. Come on out and enjoy this great event.

Charlie,

If you could shift the date slightly so that it does not always fall on my Mother's birthday weekend I could attend more often. This year we had a 90th birthday party for her and 100+ people so you know where I was being busy on the specified date.

I'm not in charge, Nelson. It would be up to the officers and voting members if they wanted to move it. I just set it up according to our long standing tradition of the 3rd Saturday.
