Is the Seville still a good car ro get the 4T60-E out of?
I was told that that transmission with the 3.33 gearing it has was good for the 4.9 but
was wondering if it`s good for a 3.4
I will be using this to control it.

Yes, the gearing is good.

Why not just use a 4T60?

Well, I don`t know about other parts of the country but down here the 4T60-E is a lot more plentiful than the 4T60 plus my TCC
on my car doesn`t work and if it`s something in the computer I kind of like having all of the adjustments on the transmission right
from that box.

I ran the 4t60 with a 3.4 pushrod, It did 100 mph with no effort @ just above 2K rpm. It had the 3.33 gearing.
The only difference is the electronics. Look at my 88 Formula build, has all the references in for a trans swap like this except the electronics.

------------------
Project Genisis Lo Budget 3800SC swap
12.840@104.8 MPH Intense-Racing 1.9 rockers, 3" exhaust, 3.4 pulley, ZZP tune and 18 year old tires.

88 Coupe under construction SOLD

88 formula 3.4L 4t60 swap SOLD

88GT resurrection in progress.

The 4T60E uses a slightly shorter passenger side axle than the non-E.
