Well, this one will more than likely stay pretty stock.
I will lower it a little but I don`t think it will get any scoops or anything like that.
I was thinking about getting a wing for it but I`m kind of digging the wing delete.
It has a 3.4 which is fairly peppy.

Sometimes bigger tires work just as well for less effort

Edit to mention, this picture is fresh off the rack after slapping these tires on, so some settling occured afterwards and the look is better yet. 245/60/15 in the rear. I sorta forget the front size at the moment, I only started using them last year on my 87 GT but the result is perfect, no tread past the fender, fully maximized size and surprised to notice little if any steering effort change. I wanna say something like 225/70 series up front.

Hey Mike. Pat gave you my contact info if you want a wing. I have an idea though. I want a deck lid without any spoiler holes in it. I have a deck lid with a shadow wing on it currently. You interested in trading?

Thanks anyway.

Thanks guys, it`s good to have a Fiero again.
It is a faux Formula but I frankly don`t know how you tell a Formula from a Coupe without the sticker.
Do you guys know?
Unless you look at the motor.
I like the car anyway.

I have a Formula. I thought the Formula had a different coil spring set up, along with a certain code in the VIN number. Correct me if I'm wrong.....

Formulas are Coupes with the W66 RPO code.

So go ahead and look for the code on the RPO code sticker.

I know that it`s not a Formula I just didn`t know if there is a way to tell from the appearance.
It started out as a Coupe 2.5 5-speed
Then a 4.9, now a 3.4 auto.
I think my tach is off though because it shows idling at about 1500 and I don`t think the engine is spinning that fast at idle.
Plus, at 60 it shows turning at about 4K RPM.

Congrats! Glad to see you're back in the game! Your GT was one of the best on the forum (and was the inspiration for some of my cars aesthetics).

Looking forward to seeing more posts with the beautiful white coupe/Formula. VERY nice car.

Yes, there is also a Pontiac arrow badge on the front.
The PO 2X ago installed those.

Thanks, Trivet

Well, I got my suspension back together, including the 1" lowering ball joint.
Got the hood painted, my new lug nut covers on. .
Paint didn`t quite match up so either after about 6 years of the paint being on the car it either faded a tad
or the mixed shade has slightly changed
I believe I`m ready for Round-up.

Thanks Spadesluck, I was hoping for a little lower but that will do for now.
It did level it out but if I get coilovers for the back I may cut a half coil out of the front springs to go a little lower.

How about a shot from the level of the beltline... so we can get a better angle to see the gap change.
