Hello Guys & Gals! I was wondering if any Fiero people so knowledgeable on this cool little car have checked out TJI? This is an invention by Mahle about 8 years ago and has been adopted first by Mercedes F1 Team in 2013 and now used by all F1 Teams. It is so simple and yet so efficient for any gasoline engine. It is a unit that will screw into the spark plug hole and provide a tiny plug and a fuel injector that pre-ignites a small amount of fuel after the original intake stroke with a 6 hole orifice so you end up getting 6 shots of burn to light off the main fuel/air mixture. This results in a almost complete burn of the mixture and a 20% increase in power with a 30% drop in emissions as well as at least 10% better fuel economy!. TJI rules man! Why is this not available yet for road cars like our Fieros!! Just sayin'....

Because it would probably cost more to retrofit this system than what most Fieros are worth.

Hey Patrick, but then the car would be worth a fortune as the only Fiero with TJI ! Oh Yeah!! Excellent Technology though, don't ya think?

This system would require an entirely new electrical control system and PCM..... or more likely a different engine.
