It's been awhile since I have posted, I'm finally getting ready to install my 3.4 DOHC/ 5 spd Getrag in the '88 Fiero. Trying to find out what everyone uses for a clutch. I'm thinking paddle one side smooth other side (centerforce) or (Ram). I know it's over kill but I want something that will grab the power of this engine, stock ain't going to cut it. Thoughts?

SPEC Stage II or Stage II + should work for your application. I currently run the Stage II on a turbo 3.4 engine and have had it in service for about 10 years. If I purchase a new clutch in the future, it will likely be the Stage II+.

I hated my Spec 2. It slipped when it was hot, and chattered when it was cold. This on a fairly well built-up 3.4. Still probably not as much power as Nelson's, but still.
I am using the Fiero Store HD Ram clutch with my 4.9. I really like it.
